Blessings Everywhere
I am so tired!!!!
I've been burning the midnight oil for the past 4 nights. While it has been so dreamy, I am not young anymore.
This morning didn't help...
B's car pooped out on him. R can't figure out what this issue is and so B was looking at buying a different one.
He wanted to buy from B&L.
Um... How about no!!!
I talked to him, R talked to him, the girls talked to him, L talked to him. But he was determined.
So this last Sunday, R found him a car and went and bought it for him. I am so grateful to R for seeing a need and being willing to do what he can to help avert another potential disaster.
This morning, after yet another long day and very short night, I went to the DMV to register it for him.
This DMV is quick, super friendly and very helpful.
When I was making my way back out to the truck, a young man saw my Marine Corps hat and asked me if I had served our country. I replied that yes I had. This young man hustled over to me to open my truck door and make sure I was set, held my crutches and made sure I was okay before thanking me for my service and shutting my door.
I am so thankful for people like him. He saw me and wanted to do something in return for me being willing to protect his rights and freedoms.
Life isn't all bad.
There are blessings all around. We just have to learn to look and to recognize them.
